Gears of War 2

My first experience of gears of war 2 is not a very good one. I remembered being immediately dissatisfied when I found out my character was extremely slow with the agility of a snail. It took me five minutes to become accustomed with all the many tools of destruction gears have to offer. From then on my brother and I played six hours straight to beat the campaign. Trust me when I say Gears is good. It’s not great and no where near halo status (shut up fan boys), but Gears is good. But Raymond is it superb like all the reviewers said it was! It is pretty damn close, but the complication with the story dissuaded me from giving it the excellent mark. The online multiplayer is fun, but doesn’t have the charm other multiplayers have. But what makes gears a must buy? It is a new concept added to third person shooting. The duck and cover movement incorporated in gears makes the whole game a new experience. But just like any new experience once you’ve went through it the experience loses its flair. I suggest anyone who’s debating to buy it just buy it already. It isn’t going to be terrible and you will have fun and isn’t that what it’s all about? Gears lets no one down and is like that good friend you always had. He’s always good, but he will never be your best friend.
